We're urgently looking for volunteers
The numbers we're seeing in Kingston's unhoused community keep climbing, and we need more hands to keep up. If you can cook, drive, serve, or lead a day, there's a spot for you.
What's going on
Kingston is under a declared food insecurity state of emergency. More people are showing up hungry than there are places set up to feed them. There's no kitchen at the park, so every meal that reaches Belle Park is prepared off-site and carried in, usually by a volunteer with a full pot and an hour to spare.

What we do
We cook and we hand out food at Belle Park. A busy service means feeding well over a hundred people, all of it prepared off-site and carried to where people already are.
No intake forms, no questions about whether you've earned it. If you live in Belle Park and you're hungry, there's a plate. That's solidarity, and we mean it.
Three ways to pitch in
-
Cook or carry
Make a big-batch meal, or lend a hand moving food and setting up at the park.
-
Give
We run entirely on donations. Every dollar turns into food.
-
Spread the word
Talk to your neighbours, show up, bring somebody with you next time.
